Good Food and Friendly Faces

friendly stafffree parkingquaint bedroomsugared cereals
Location worked for my plans. The bar staff, all very pleasant and friendly. Parking was free and nearby, that was a plus. The Sunday roast I got was really good. The beer garden was pleasant to spend some time. I found the bedroom quaint.
I was paying an extra £5 for a continental breakfast. I phoned and spoke to a lady and explained I was diabetic and couldn't eat croissants. I was told cereals would be available, but those were sugared and unsuitable. I feel that Weetabix should be an option.

charming stay, lovely hotel!

cute staffbeautiful gardennarrow pavement
The staff were so cute when we arrived. the garden area at the back was beautiful and relaxing. the food was excellent. I complimented the chef on the delicious three-course meal. i also enjoyed a awesome breakfast the next morning, such a treat!
The narrow pavements outside made walking the dogs difficult. it felt a bit inconvenient because the hotel sits on a busy road. i wish there was more space for walking nearby. It would have been perfect.

an amazing foodie find!

excellent foodhelpful staffgreat atmospheregarden access
i enjoyed two evening meals here. the food was excellent plus the staff were very helpful. the chef even accommodated my garlic allergy by creating alternative sauces for me (now that's what i call service!). the atmosphere was great, and i can't recommend this spot enough.
the only downside was that dogs weren't allowed in the garden. for a dog-friendly place, it was a bit inconvenient (though my pup didn't seem to mind too much). it meant we couldn't let our dogs roam freely outside.
